Coronavirus has spread all over the world and hit Italy and Spain very hard. Finland, like other European countries, took some measures. Finnish health authorities await the peak of the coronavirus epidemic in May.

Sanna Marin's government isolated Uusimaa from the rest of Finland, closed the restaurants, schools, libraries, etc. Also, the doors of the state emergency warehouses had to be opened to supply equipment to hospitals.

Therefore, Foreigner.fi asked the readers in a Twitter poll, “Do you think the situation in Finland will be as hard as in other EU countries?

In the poll, the respondents were given two options which were 'Yes, more measures needed' and ' No, Finland prepared well'.

The mini poll was answered by 47 readers and 51.1% of the readers said ‘No, Finland prepared well’. 48.9% said, ‘Yes, more measures needed’

More readers believe that Finland has prepared well, although they win by little difference.

Foreigner.fi is going to ask a different question about Finland every Friday on its official Twitter account @foreigner.fi.

Finland well prepared for peak of Covid-19, say Foreigner.fi readers
