At least two men were killed by shots fired in the small Danish coastal town of Kalundborg, police said on Wednesday.
A third man was injured but in a stable condition and being treated in hospital, police said.
The three men were in their early twenties and from the region of Copenhagen. They were all known to police.
Police did not disclose further information regarding a motive.
Such cases of isolated shootings in Scandinavia often involve criminal gangs.
