Download in your language the Covid-19 information letter sent to all households

In Finland, most households have received these days by mail an information package on coronavirus (koronavirus, in Finnish) sent by the Government.

According to the Finnish National Institute for Health and Welfare (THL), the letter has been already distributed nationwide. However, in some areas like the Åland archipelago or parts of Western Finland it may still arrive next week.

The Ministry of Social Affairs and Health said one week ago that the purpose of the letter is to provide every citizen, including those who do not search information online or follow news broadcasts, with basic information on coronavirus and ways to avoid getting the disease.

The information package contains a cover letter and three brochures with instructions related to the Covid-19:

How to protect yourself.
What to do if you fall ill or you have to take care of a sick relative.
Guidelines for people aged over 70.

However, the information package has been only distributed in Finnish and Swedish, and in certain areas of Lapland in the Sámi language.
