The goods volume in domestic waterborne traffic totalled 764,682 tonnes in April 2020.
Transport in domestic waterborne traffic decreased by 4% compared to last year's April. Almost all domestic water transport took place in coastal waterways.

Oil products were transported most, in total 0.41 million tonnes, which was 53% of all transport. The second most transported were crude minerals and cement, 0.28 million tonnes.
A total of 2,148 tons of transport were registered through the Saimaa Canal in domestic traffic.
